Artemis Poppy was born and raised in a small Northern Michigan town. Growing up an only child was lonely so she began creating art and writing poetry. Her influences for writing include Edgar Allan Poe, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, Rebecca Campbell, and Augusten Burroughs.

Artemis has been writing poetry since the young age of eleven, in order to sort through the thoughts and feelings that surged through her.

 

She is an internationally selling artist and has been showcasing her fine art in Oklahoma, Michigan, and Colorado.

She resides in Northern Colorado with the love of her life and their three fur children.
